Before you begin

• Download and install the Baby FM app on your phone.
• Make sure a fresh CR2032 battery is inserted — the thermometer is powered by inserting the battery and has no power button.
• Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
• Keep the packaging to hand: the QR code you need is printed on it.

Connect with the QR code

1. Open the app on your phone.
2. On the Home screen, tap Connect with QR code.
3. Point your camera at the QR code on the packaging.
4. Once scanned, the app connects to the device automatically.
5. After a successful connection, the Home screen displays the device status and temperature.

If it does not connect

• Confirm Bluetooth is enabled on the phone and that the phone is within range — 5 m in free space, less in a household.
• Confirm the battery is inserted correctly and the compartment cover is fully closed.
• Move away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference (see Electromagnetic Interference and Defibrillation).
• Restart the app and try again. If the problem persists, contact support@babyfm.rs.

To confirm which thermometer you are connected to, tap IDENTIFY in the app and check that the light on the device flashes.
