The Baby FM thermometer uses one CR2032 3 V lithium coin cell. The battery is not rechargeable.

When to replace

• The app shows the battery at or below 20 %, or displays a low-battery notification.
• When you open the battery cover, the internal light blinks continuously.
• The device fails to power on after a battery has been inserted correctly.

How to replace

1. Hold the device securely.
2. Insert a coin or similar flat tool into the battery compartment slot. Rotate in the direction of the “open” lock to release the device cover.
3. Remove the depleted battery. Avoid touching both battery faces simultaneously with metal tools.
4. Insert a new CR2032 coin cell, aligning the + and − marks with the compartment polarity indicators. Do not force the battery; make sure it sits flat.
5. Reinstall the cover and rotate in the “close” direction until fully seated. Do not overtighten.
6. Verify in the Baby FM app that the battery status indicator shows at least one bar.

Battery safety

• Do not attempt to recharge the battery. This product uses a non-rechargeable CR2032 coin cell. Charging may cause overheating, leakage or explosion, resulting in injury or damage.
• Keep coin cells away from children. Coin cells are a choking and ingestion hazard. If a battery is swallowed or inserted into any body part, seek immediate medical attention.
• Replace only with a CR2032 primary lithium coin cell from an approved supplier, and observe polarity. Other battery types, rechargeable cells or low-quality or unknown brands may cause overheating, leakage, explosion, inaccurate readings or device malfunction.
• Do not use a damaged, deformed or leaking battery.
• Dispose of the used battery in accordance with local regulations. Do not dispose of batteries in household waste.
