Cleaning the Thermometer
- Power off the device by removing the battery.
- Wipe the sensor and housing with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- For disinfection, use a cloth lightly dampened with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
- Do not submerge the device in water or any liquid.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals.
- Allow to air-dry completely before reinserting the battery or using the device.
Cleaning the Elastic Strap
- Remove the thermometer from the strap.
- Hand wash the strap with mild soap and lukewarm water.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Air-dry completely before reuse. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Storage
- Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Storage conditions: -10 C to +50 C, 10-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
- Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period (more than 30 days).
- Keep the device in its original packaging if possible.
Maintenance
- No calibration or professional servicing is required during normal use.
- Inspect the device regularly for visible damage. Do not use a damaged device.
- Check the elastic strap for signs of wear (loss of elasticity, fraying). Replace if necessary.
