Problem: Device does not power on Possible Cause: Battery depleted or inserted incorrectly Solution: Replace with a new CR2032 battery. Verify correct polarity (+ side up).
Problem: App cannot find the thermometer Possible Cause: Bluetooth disabled; device out of range; device not active Solution: Enable Bluetooth. Move within 1-2 m. Remove and reinsert battery to reactivate.
Problem: Pairing fails Possible Cause: Previous pairing conflict Solution: Remove Baby FM from your phone's Bluetooth paired devices list. Restart the app. Re-pair.
Problem: Connection drops frequently Possible Cause: Interference; distance; low battery Solution: Reduce distance. Move away from other Bluetooth devices, Wi-Fi routers, or microwaves. Replace battery.
Problem: Readings seem inaccurate Possible Cause: Incorrect placement; moisture; recent activity Solution: Reposition sensor to centre of armpit with full skin contact. Ensure area is clean and dry. Rest 10-15 min before measuring. Wait 30-90 s for stabilisation.
Problem: Readings fluctuate Possible Cause: Movement; loose contact Solution: Hold arm firmly. Minimise movement. Use elastic strap for stability.
Problem: App crashes or freezes Possible Cause: Outdated app or OS Solution: Update the app and your phone's OS to the latest versions. Restart the app or phone.
Problem: No fever alert received Possible Cause: Alerts disabled; notifications blocked Solution: Check Settings > Alerts in the app. Ensure push notifications are enabled in your phone's system settings.
Problem: Data not syncing Possible Cause: No internet connection Solution: Connect to Wi-Fi or mobile data. Data will sync automatically once connectivity is restored.
