Cleaning the thermometer

• Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water, mild detergent, or 70 % alcohol, avoiding the display.
• Wipe the exterior at least once per day during routine use, and whenever the device is visibly soiled.
• Disinfect the device before first use, after extended storage, and before using it on another person.
• Do not submerge the device, do not sterilize it, and do not use solvents, abrasive cleaners or unlisted chemicals.
• Allow the device to dry completely before the next use.

Elastic strap

Elastic straps are single-use and can be worn for up to 24 hours. Each package contains 10 straps, which are also available for individual purchase.

Storage

• Store in a dry place, out of direct sunlight, away from heat sources and strong electromagnetic fields, and out of reach of children and pets.
• Keep the device in its original packaging or a protective case, especially for transport or long-term storage.
• Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period, to prevent leakage and corrosion.
• Inspect the device for damage before using it again after storage.
