Silent and Do Not Disturb suppress audible alarms

If your phone is in Silent or Do Not Disturb mode, audible alarms may be suppressed. The app will display a banner. Adjust your phone settings if you want to receive audible alerts.

Readings can be missed if power or connection is lost

If the device loses power or connection — for example a low battery, or the phone moving out of range — measurements may not be recorded. Replace the battery when notified, and keep the phone within range.

The thermometer keeps up to 48 hours of measurements in its internal buffer when the Bluetooth connection is lost, and synchronises automatically once the connection is restored. That buffer does not help if the battery is flat.

Staying in range

The valid transmission distance is 5 m in free space. The range actually achieved in a household depends on walls, furniture and your phone’s specifications. During a measurement, keep phones and other emitting devices at least 30 cm from the thermometer.

Alarms and readings support but do not replace clinical judgment. If symptoms persist or readings are unexpected, seek medical advice.
